I am also super excited b/c she is starting to say a few words...her first was mama, then baba (when she wants her bottle), Ma, when she sees Maddie run by and hi!!! She's so smart!!! :)

Clara's almost 5 months!!
I can't believe Clara will be 5 months old in just a few days!!! I guess time really does fly when you are having fun!! She is still sleeping through the night, thank God, and she has just started eating food!!! We started out with cereal, which she wasn't too excited about and now we are on to bigger and better things... carrots & green beans!! :) sweet potatoes are next week and then squash; once we are through with veggies it's on to the good stuff, fruit!! Sam is currently out to sea, but will be back for my birthday and Halloween!!! Clara and I are just trying to pass the time til' he gets home!! We stay super busy shopping for baby clothes & bows, reading, exploring all of her new and exciting toys,watching Playhouse Disney and of course Disney movies!! Every night is girls' night!! :) we'll be back w/ more updates asap!!

Newest addition to the Moffett Family :)
Wow!! it's been a super long time since I've written anything!! Sam and I just had our first baby, so you can imagine, I have been VERY busy!! Clara Rose was born on May 13, 2009 at 11:55 pm. She was 7lbs. 10oz and 20 inches long...the exact same size and length Sam was when he was born!! Weird!! :) I had a normal vaginal birth, with epidural I might add... I was in labor for about 11 hours before i started pushing and then there she was. 
Sometimes i still can't believe i have a baby!! She is almost two months now!! She has been a great little baby with the exception of the first two nights :) She is a beautiful little girl and loves taking pictures!! If you've ever seen my facebook page you would know!! Clara is also, finally, sleeping through the night and we are so excited!!
Her favortie toy right now is her Ocean Wonders Seahorse... she loves to listen and watch him, and when she can't seem to fall asleep he helps!! :)
Clara has had many firsts since she was born... i guess everything she does is a first, though... :) She had a great time last week at the neighborhood pool, she loved all of the Fourth of July festivities, and she even got her first tutu!!! :)
Sam and I are so happy and excited to be parents!!! We love our little Clara Rose!! Now that I have a little more time during the day, i will keep everyone updated on Clara and the rest of the family!!!

Wow! I haven't written anything in forever!!! :)
So....everything is going great with the Moffett family these days!!! We moved out of our tiny apartment and into our more spacious townhouse in January and we are loving it!!! Everything is finally unpacked and now it looks"lived in." I can't go too long without hanging something on the walls!!! Thanks to the generous contributions from the Lynch's and the VanMalden's our baby room is finished too!! We just bought our last piece of furniture from Babies R' Us yesterday!! Of course, Miss Maddilyn thinks that the baby room is hers and when she can't be found she is either underneath the crib or sleeping on the brand new daybed with all of the stuffed animals... it's very hard to see her!! :)
Last month Sam and I celebrated our first married year together, and of course we tried our wedding cake... it was awful!!! Luckily I had a back up cake!! :) We also celebrated Maddie's first birthday!!! She turned one on Feb. 1, but we didn't get her until May...I guess everything great happens in May... because that's when Clara comes!!!
Not too much is happening over the next couple of weeks, but all the fun starts the last week in Feb. Sam and i have our first Childbirth class on the 24th and they will be once a week for 6 weeks!! Hopefully, Sam will be able to make a few b/c after March 2 he will be going to school in Dulgren, VA :( He graduates from school April 17 so hopefully Clara will be good and stay put until after he comes home!! That's all for now, but if anything exciting happens I will be sure to write!!! :)

10 weeks and 4 days!!! :)
So... Sam and I went to the doctor this morning for my 10 week visit and everything is great. I had a physical first (yuck) and then they brought Sam in for the ultrasound. It was so awesome!!! The doctor is great and we got to see some amazing pictures of the baby!!! We'll write again soon!!

We're Pregnant!!!!
I can't believe I'm going to be a mom...it's so crazy, and i still can't believe it!!! This past Friday, I came home from work and Sam was taking a nap; i decided to lay down w/ him b/c i was feeling a little under the weather. I don't know why, but I thought I might be pregnant... I just had a weird feeling, so I went ahead and took a test. It came back positive!!! I think Sam was in denial b/c on the way to dinner we stopped at Target for another pregnancy test and some M&M's :) We went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner and after we ate I went to the bathroom and took the second test; we couldn't wait til'we got home!! It also cam eback positive!!! We were so excited!! We called our parents and let them know the good news, but we decided to wait to tell everyone else after I had my first doctor's visit. Well, i went this morning and everything is great! I am five weeks pregnant and i had my first sonogram today. All the doctor wanted to see was the gestational sac and it's location in my cervix, and she wanted to make sure it was the right size and that it had a white lining in the picture. She said everything looked perfect!!! I have to choose a different doctor with Sam tonight (b/c mine doesn't deliver babies)and then I have to go see them in two weeks. Sam & I feel so blessed & we are so excited...a little shocked, but very excited!!!
Oh! and we are moving into a new townhome on Nov. 7!!!! Yay!!!
